Here are a few of our favorite things.
Our Wedding Vendors
Our photographer
Soft Hearts & Stills
We’re pretty much obsessed with our photographer Alyssa (aka Soft Hearts & Stills). Not only does she do beautiful work (all of the pictures on this site were taken by her up in Maine!), but she’s kind, affable, and put us totally at ease — no small feat for two camera shy people.
Our invitation artist
Inslee Fariss
Raleigh, North Carolina based artist and illustrator Inslee Fariss painted all of our favorite houseplants for use in our invitations, save the dates, etc. We couldn’t be more in love with her ethereal, delicate, beautiful art. Check out more of her work here.
Our venue
The Herb Lyceum
Sibling to one of our local favorites, Puritan and Co., The Herb Lyceum is a working 4-acre farm in Groton Massachusetts operated by the Gilson family since the 1800s. We are delighted to be able to celebrate our marriage with one of the restaurants that’s most special to us. Follow them on instagram or checkout their website for more information.
Our florist
Afterall Floral
Afterall Floral is a woman-owned local florist in the Cambridge area. When the pandemic hit and we had to pivot and pivot again, Angela and Demelza helped us make our tiny ceremony on our apartment deck feel like a fairytale. They were a joy to work with then, and we are delighted that they will be styling our celebration at the Herb Lyceum as well.

Regarding a registry
We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you this fall, and your presence will bring us so much joy. We are fortunate to have a home full of things we love. For that reason, we are foregoing a traditional registry. We will gladly accept any handmade gifts, book recommendations, or a card with a note from you.
If you would like to send a gift in the form of money, we ask that you consider one of these nonprofits:
The Loveland Foundation · DC Central Kitchen · Southern Poverty Law Center
The Trevor Project · Wildlife Conservation Society · Campaign for Southern Equality
The Advancement Project · The Okra Project · Marsha P. Johnson Institute
